MarcoFalke fa183761cb log: Remove function name from init logs
It is redundant with -logsourcelocations and the log messages are
clearer without it.

Also, remove a double-space.

Also, add braces around `if` touched in the next commit.

This tiny behavior change requires a test fixup.

Note that we unfortunately can't use a scripted diff here, as the

in hashlib, or in the `UTXO` class in p2p_segwit.py).

merge-script bac43b957e Merge bitcoin/bitcoin#32312: test: Fix feature_pruning test after nTime typo fix
2aa63d511a test: Use uninvolved pruned node in feature_pruning undo test (enoch)
772ba7f9ce test: Fix nTimes typo in feature_pruning test (enoch)

Pull request description:

  This PR contains two commits:

  1. Fixes a typo in feature_pruning.py where 'nTimes' was incorrectly
used instead of 'nTime'. This typo caused the test to always reset
mine_large_blocks.nTime to 0, rather than only on the first run.

  2. Fixes the test failure exposed by the typo fix. The
test_pruneheight_undo_presence test was failing because it was using
node 2, which is involved in reorg testing and could be on a
different chain than other nodes. The solution switches to using
node 5, which is also a pruned node but isn't involved in reorg
     testing.

  Testing:
  - Ran test/functional/feature_pruning.py multiple times to verify
    consistent passing
  - Verified that the test now passes with the correct nTime variable name
  - Confirmed the test behavior matches the intended functionality of
    verifying pruned block availability
  - Ran the full test suite to ensure the changes did not introduce any
    regressions or affect other tests

Thanks to fjahr for his assistance in diagnosing the issue and
  suggesting the solution.

This fixes the test failure reported in #32249

enoch 2aa63d511a test: Use uninvolved pruned node in feature_pruning undo test
After fixing the nTime variable name, the test_pruneheight_undo_presence
test began failing because node 2, which is involved in reorg testing,
could be on a different chain than other nodes. This caused failures
when trying to fetch blocks from other nodes that didn't recognize
node 2's chain.

Switch to using node 5 instead, which is also a pruned node but isn't
involved in reorg testing, ensuring it stays on the same chain as the
other nodes. This allows the block fetching to work as intended in the
test.

MacroFake 555519d082 test: Remove wallet option from non-wallet tests
Review note: The changes are complete, because self.options.descriptors
is set to None in parse_args (test_framework.py).

A value of None implies -disablewallet, see the previous commit.

So if a call to add_wallet_options is missing, it will lead to a test
failure when the wallet is compiled in.

Luke Dashjr e593ae07c4 Bugfix: RPC/blockchain: pruneblockchain: Return the height of the actual last pruned block
From 0.14 (2017 Mar) until before 0.19 (2019 Nov), the height of the last
block pruned was returned, subject to a bug if there were blocks left unpruned
due to sharing files with later blocks.

In #15991, this was "fixed" to the current implementation, introducing a new
bug: now, it returns the first *unpruned* block.

Since the user provides the parameter as a block to include in pruning, it
makes more sense to fix the behaviour to match the documentation.

Russell Yanofsky c1585bca8d test: Get rid of default wallet hacks
- Get rid of hardcoded wallet "" names and -wallet="" args
- Get rid of setup_nodes (-wallet, -nowallet, -disablewallet) argument rewriting

Motivation:

- Simplify test framework behavior so it's easier to write new tests without
having arguments mangled by the framework
- Make tests more readable, replacing unexplained "" string literals with
  default_wallet_name references
- Make it trivial to update default wallet name and wallet data filename for
  sqlite #19077 testing
- Stop relying on -wallet arguments to create wallets, so it is easy to change
-wallet option in the future to only load existing wallets not create new
ones (to avoid accidental wallet creation, and encourage use of wallet
  encryption and descriptor features)

MarcoFalke f32564f0a7 Merge #16681: Tests: Use self.chain instead of 'regtest' in all current tests
1abcecc40c Tests: Use self.chain instead of 'regtest' in almost all current tests (Jorge Timón)

Pull request description:

Simply avoiding the hardcoded string in more places for consistency.
It can also allow for more easily reusing tests for other chains other than regtest.

  Separated from #8994 .
  Continues #16509 .

It is still not complete (ie to be complete, we need the -chain parameter in #16680 and make whether acceptnonstdtxs is allowed for that chain or not customizable for regtest [or for custom chains like in #8994 ] ). But while being incomplete like #16509 , it's quite simple to review and another step forward IMO.
