A note of interest is that commit
1d7a2692ea6125d1362f5d56fa1341c73a762824 was rolled back as it was
problematic. This was accidentally done in a commit to do with the
manifest update (I think 5d4f9ff907cc0dfb3056a27618bb43a195e31b06 but
possibly e7756cfb31b55a9e96436dc728a067c6304159ff instead).
