Fix 1992/gson in macOS + format/typo checks

The fix is simply disabling the optimiser. This allows the specific
cases where it crashed on start in macOS to not happen. An example
command where it crashed:

    ./gson free software foundation < /usr/share/dict/words

The README.md file has been typo/format checked.
