From a5b85f9fe56f92e12ba9c83e782d8f7d1a1af1ad Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Cody Boone Ferguson <53008573+xexyl@users.noreply.github.com> Date: Sun, 28 Sep 2025 03:46:06 -0700 Subject: [PATCH] Add -Wno-overriding-deployment-version A bug in macOS 26 (is anyone surprised any more?) ends up with warning: clang: warning: overriding deployment version from '16.0' to '26.0' [-Woverriding-deployment-version] depending on invocation. Particularly with at least some versions of gcc, even though in this case it was actually gcc and not the system gcc that is really clang in disguise. Because of this -Wno-overriding-deployment-version was added to next/Makefile.example. --- next/Makefile.example | 2 +- 1 file changed, 1 insertion(+), 1 deletion(-) diff --git a/next/Makefile.example b/next/Makefile.example index 10c05fc68..c2d792ac1 100644 --- a/next/Makefile.example +++ b/next/Makefile.example @@ -41,7 +41,7 @@ TRUE= true # # Example: CSILENCE= -Wno-int-conversion # -CSILENCE= -Wno-poison-system-directories -Wno-unsafe-buffer-usage +CSILENCE= -Wno-poison-system-directories -Wno-unsafe-buffer-usage -Wno-overriding-deployment-version # Attempt to silence unknown warning options #
