fix HTML errors in status.html

Try to fix things that the Nu HTML check is reporting.

Improve formatting of the contents of `status.json` in `status.html`.

Changed `bin/status2html.sh` VERSION from to "1.2 2024-04-15"
to "1.3 2024-04-16".

Run `make gen_status` to perform the above and test under macOS.
