From dbe022a3594636918bb338bd44fd5fdbc3f8ba31 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Cody Boone Ferguson <53008573+xexyl@users.noreply.github.com> Date: Thu, 23 Mar 2023 06:21:00 -0700 Subject: [PATCH] 2006/monge requires x86/x86_64 CPUs The segfault I noted in c40a061a2d114fd1e5c1549c8f9e1ab0421adfed appears to be because it requires x86/x86_64 architecture and I tested it on the arm64 (MacBook Pro M1). I will still in time test it under linux to make sure it works but that's for another time. With this in mind the entry should at least theoretically work at least if you have an x86/x86_64 CPU. --- 2006/monge/README.md | 4 ++-- 1 file changed, 2 insertions(+), 2 deletions(-) diff --git a/2006/monge/README.md b/2006/monge/README.md index c054a68d6..8cf3b5891 100644 --- a/2006/monge/README.md +++ b/2006/monge/README.md @@ -21,8 +21,8 @@ without SDL1 (**not** SDL2) this will not link because two functions that are used were removed from SDL2. Since SDL1 is still available and since changing the code to use SDL2 would be more complicated he decided to change the Makefile to use `sdl-config` not `sdl2-config`. Nevertheless he points out that the entry -segfaults or at least it does under macOS (he has not tested linux yet but will -in time and then try debugging it). Thank you Cody for your assistance! +requires x86/x86_64 CPUs. Without it it might very well segfault (for instance +it segfaulted on his MacBook Pro with the M1 chip). ### To run:
