improve format of authors.html

Break the line between the _author_handle_ line and the _Location_ line.

Changed `bin/gen-authors.sh` VERSION from to "1.7 2024-04-16"
to "1.8 2024-04-16".

Run `make gen_authors` to perform the above and test under macOS.
