An additional look shows that the gets(3) call is for the dictionary
file. It is highly unlikely (though not impossible) that the dictionary
file would ever have a line 256 in length and this as well as because it
was documented is why I changed the buffer size back to the original.
The bug status does still suggest it would be nice if fgets(3) could be
used but it also lists the bugs and limitations the author stated in the
first place which actually does refer to the 256 limit.
I moved the notice to those who want a challenge up a bit in the
README.md file to be right above obfuscatory notes rather than before
those notes get into the details.
In the case of 1992/gson it was not as simple to change it to use
fgets() due to how the char * is set up. First it's set to argv (see
README.md for the more correct details) and then it's set to h which
was of size 256. Since the program requires the input be from the
command line I simply changed the buffer size to ARG_MAX+1 (which might
already be more than enough).
Fixed formatting in README.md.
Changed in Makefile the og to ag to match the description (and in the
places where og was used in the README.md I changed it to ag).
.gitignore also now has ag not og.
Possibly typos were fixed but I'm not sure now.
We we move 1988-2004 entries from all of a year's winning entries
in a single directory to each winner being in their own sub-directory
under the given year directory.
