Add `markdown.md` which generates `markdown.html` to document IOCCC markdown best practices. Changed `bin/gen-top-html.sh` VERSION from to "1.4.1 2024-04-16" to "1.4.2 2024-04-21". Added FAQ 0.6 about IOCCC mark requirements. Run `make gen_top_html timestamp` to perform the above.
inc
The inc directory holds content that is used by the tools in the bin directory.
Why the name inc?
We use inc because "include" would be misleading for both C and because the contents of HTML files under inc are not really included by the web server or the browser. Content of HTML files is processed by tools the bin directory. Processing can include substitution of strings of the form %%CURDS%% with some command line supplied value by the tool in question.
