update index.html and .winner.json per recent manifest changes'

A note of interest is that commit
1d7a2692ea was rolled back as it was
problematic. This was accidentally done in a commit to do with the
manifest update (I think 5d4f9ff907 but
possibly e7756cfb31 instead).
